About Me

Hi there, welcome to my little corner of the internet!

I am a wife to my high-school sweetheart, John Zachary, and a momma to our sweet girl, Juniper Rose. And we are loving the chaotic life that fills our little nest in the heart of central Indiana.

On this site you will find two things that hold such importance in my life: food and a life that seeks to love and bring others to the hope and grace that comes from Jesus Christ our Savior.
The love of God has been written throughout the moments of my life, and his grace has overflowed through each of the cracks along the way, and for that I am forever thankful. As I continue to trust in Him and put my hope in Him each and every day, I pray that the words that He gives me to share bless you and find you wanting more of Him.
I am a deep deep believer in the power of food! It nourishes not only our bodies, but our very souls. Sharing food with one another can be something so simple or something powerfully intimate, but nevertheless leaves us feeling loved and full. My love for cooking and baking started when I was a little girl, and since then it has blossomed to learning how to cook for my own family, cook for others families, meal plan for others, bake birthday cakes and wedding cakes and soooo soooo many cookies. I hope that the thought of learning something new through cooking inspires you to step out of the box and experiment how to love others through serving them food :)

Yes, I spend most of my time in the kitchen or on the living room floor playing with my little girl as she explores and learns new things each day.
But some of my favorite places that you will find me is on my back porch sitting in my rocking chair sipping my perfectly concocted coffee - the perfect balance of Newman's Own organic roast, vanilla almond milk creamer, and toasted coconut almond milk..heaven. Curled up on the couch reading a new book, watching a late-night movie in bed with my hubby, or walking around a nursery staring at all of the plants and flowers I would love to buy and fill my backyard with.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for being here. I hope you find what you are looking for :)
